Felicia & Călin, a wedding lived with heart at Conacul Albert
A lovely couple, a whole day by their side and an evening when the venue came alive exactly as they pictured it. Plus a few ideas for a Trash The Dress session.
Felicia and Călin are a lovely couple, always smiling, with an energy you could feel from the first moments of the day. I was with them from the preparations until late in the evening, and that smile never left for a second.
The preparations, the first look and the emotions between them moved us too. What I liked most was how quickly they forgot about the camera. After a few minutes I was just another person in the room, and they were simply themselves.
In the evening at Conacul Albert the venue came alive exactly as they had imagined. Elegant decor, warm light and the guests' energy turned everything into an atmosphere full of emotion and joy.
Before the reception they stole a few minutes just for themselves. I recommend this to every couple: ten minutes away from the guests, no phones, just the two of you. For you it's a breath of air in a very full day. For me, it's often where the most beautiful frames of the whole wedding happen.
Why does it matter that I'm there all day? Because a wedding doesn't only happen at the ceremony. It happens in the morning jokes, in grandma's look at the church, in the first dance and in the shoes kicked under the table at 2 a.m. Leave halfway and you miss half the story.
Many couples tell me the same thing after the wedding: "It went by so fast, I barely remember anything." That's normal. It's exactly why I'm there, so you can live the day and the memory stays in the photos.
And if after the wedding the dress feels too beautiful to sit in a wardrobe, I'd suggest a Trash The Dress session. No schedule, no guests, no rush, just the two of you and a place you love.
A few tips from experience: pick a place that means something to you, a forest near Brașov, a lake, a field of tall grass. Decide in advance how "trashed" you want it, from a bit of grass on the hem to water up to your knees. Bring spare shoes, a towel and dry clothes. And let yourselves go, there are no mistakes here.
